  Update to Mac 10.6

  I’ve had my edit system on Mac 10.5.8 for quite awhile now, but I finally came across some software that requires me to update to 10.6 in order for it to work.

  What’s the consensus on running Final Cut Pro 7 and a Kona 3 on the latest Mac OS 10.6 at this point? I’m sure I’ll need to update the Kona drivers, etc, but I am between projects right now, everything is backed up elsewhere and I’ve got time to test it so it seems like now is the time. Thoughts?

  9 GB RAM
  Mac OS X 10.5.5
  QT 7.5.5
  FCP 6.0.5
  AJA Kona 3 (6.0.1 drivers)
  G-Speed XL 12 RAID

  Two systems no problem here at 10.6.4 with Kona 3.

  Same here, 2 edit suites running 10.6.3 w/ Final Cut 7 … A Mac Pro dual quad core w/Kona card as well as an i7 iMac (no Kona, obviously) with no issues whatsoever. SOLID
