  Kona 3 DS Keyer help

  Hey,

  So, I want to add a letterbox mask using the DS keyer. I made a tiff with an alpha channel (also tried PNG and PSD). But I can’t get it to work.

  I think my problem is I captured 10 bit and that is YUV, but the graphic file seems to be RGB. I get a message that says “background frame buffer format is RGB”

  Does anyone know how to fix this pickle?

  For the record, I am going out from KONA 3 to HDCAM SR, 10 bit, hoping to not have to render the whole file with a letter box.

  I’d call AJA. There’s a post below yours about the DS Keyer acting up and I can’t get it to act right, either.

  Exact same issue here as well. I contacted AJA awhile ago about it and they were perplexed and nothing got resolved. Same RGB / YUV conflict issue.
