HDP2 – finally a press release that I can use !
I saw the HP Dreamcolor monitor at NAB 2009, but I thought that it was only really useful with the Gefen HD-SDI to DVI converter. Well, that put a big NO on this product for me (and others complained about the Dreamcolor limitations being used directly) – WELL, now that AJA is taking “responsibility” for the performance of the Dreamcolor – at $2000 for this monitor, now that I can use the HDP2 with it, I will certainly take another look at it, as an alternate to other $2500 HD-SDI monitors.

Hey Bob. I have both of these products on loan right now and I am planning on writing something up. The HDP2 does a great job. There are a few hoops to jump through, but I will have to explain that in more detail later. I will say the panel is truly 10 bit and the black level is very very impressive.
