  KONA 3 installation IOHD deinstallation

  Hi,

  I am making a switch from aja iohd to kona 3 card and I was wondering how should it be done properly to avoid any possilble hickups.
  I run a 2 x 2,66ghz dual-core intel xeon, 11gb ram, ati radeon 1900xt. My expansion slot utility has one 4 x lane left free all other lanes are already taken.

  My questions are following.

  2. How to properly deinstall IOHD not to leave and prefs or settings that could interfere with new KONA 3?

  3. Is 4 X lane fast enough for kona 3? What is the optimal lane setting. Beside ati radeon 1900xt, I have also a pci-e firewire 800 (lane x 1) and a pci to pci bridge card using 4 x lane.

  AJA includes an Uninstaller. Run that for the Io before you install the Kona.
