  Audio output mystery

  Not a crisis, but sometimes, audio from FCP which can be heard on Line Out will not be audible with AJA audio out.

  I trash prefs, restart FCP, restart the Mac, check A/V settings in all FCP locations, recheck everything in Kona Control Panel, and nothing seems to work… until it suddenly comes back. And I don’t know why!

  No reinstallation of Kona software, no software updates, no checking the board location — somehow, just messing around with the basic settings makes it work again. It could be user error, but it feels like randomness.

  If someone has lost AJA audio and recovered it through one specific action, I’d appreciate hearing about it.
