  AJ-HD1400 (Rec Inhibit)

  Having a bit of trouble with the AJ-HD1400. I just ordered one and I have it hooked up through BNC into my blackmagic decklink card. However, whenever I insert a tape the record inhibit light comes on. The tape is switched to ‘rec’ and the deck itself has it’s rec inhbt switched turned to off. Can anyone tell me what I’m doing wrong?

  Is your tape blank? What kind of tape?
