    Hello everyone,
This is the setup. I’m shooting in 720p24 with a JVC br-hd110u. Then digitizing via a br-hd50 deck going through a convergent designs hd-connect-mi and into the SDI of the Kona. I’ve just upgraded to FCP6 and would like input as to what the best settings would be for this setup. The only reason I’m shooting in 24 frame is my clients like a more film look, but if it’s better doing something else due to a better work flow… I’d consider doing it. I’d also like to take advantage of Apple’s Pro-Res codec. So as I understand it, this is only a 1080 codec so I’ll need to edit in 1080 vs. the native 720 the footage is shoot in. Am I correct?
I must admit, this move to HD has been a little confusing and would appreciate any insight anyone has.

Thanks for all your help. I need to get a grasp on this and look forward to helping others once I do.
