  Kona LS playback problem

  I am trying to edit using fcp 5.1 with Kona LS card through a sony beta deck UVW-1800 on a dual 2.3 g5. The problem is when viewing my monitor it sometimes (like right now) goes black and white, jumps and then disappears into blackness. I can’t seem to fix it. I’ve tried re-installing the kona driver software, a new timeline in fcp, palying with the kona utilities settings. When it has happened before it seems to fix itself. Anyone got any ideas on how to fix this? Thanks-

  Reseated the card and got it working!
