Activity Forums Adobe After Effects How do I make a spectrum like this?

I’m not sure how they did that, but here’s how I do that:

Solid layer > Effect > Audio Spectrum

    choose the audio layer.
Make sure the start point and end point go from edge to edge.
Add a mask over the entire lower half of the image.
Add an Adjustment layer > Effect > Polar Coordinates: set interpolation to 100% and type of conversion to Rect to Polar.

Thickness is its own value — and you’ll find plenty of stuff to tweak.

    Hope that helps
