  BetacamSX 16:9 delivery question…

  hello lifesavers,

  i have a client who needs delivery on Betacam SX in 16:9 format. the project originated on DVCProHD (720p30).

  as i remember with SX, the 16:9 is achieved via anamorphic image in 4:3 and squeezed into 16:9 via a camera setting. since the project was not shot anamorphic, what’s the KONA setting to get them the 16:9 minus letterbox onto an SX tape? or is there an editing solution?

  i’m using a G5 dual 2.5, FCP 5.1.2 with a KONA 2 card.

  D’oh! it’s just the anamorphic selection in the Kona Control Panel!
