I know that this has been on forum at least one hundred times but I will have to ask again.
    Situation looks like this:
FCP 5.0.4, KonaLH on 2×2.5GHz G5, Huge 4210, 2.5Gb memory etc. LH is set to “Freerun” since beginning and we never had any problems with it.
But never say never as problems came with HD. Any HD sequence that LH is downconverting to SD for monitoring or putting to SD tape is crackling as hell. If downconverting is off then sound is fine.

Is this a problem for black burst generator and if yes then my question is if Horita BSG-50P (P for PAL as I am in PAL country) good enough or I will have to invest into something bigger and better and if yes then what.
    Thanks

    Explain….

What do you mean by crackling? Are you talking about audio? If so, the Kona has always seen this. But it could be that you audio board is set to +4 instead of -10.

Yes I meant audio. A constant sound like crickets in summer but not so nice.
But it works in SD with no audio problems? Never mind, will get a black burst generator in a day or two to check. And also will check the audio board.
    Thanks.
