I have a DecklinkSP connected to an AJA SDI to analog converter connected to my broadcast monitor. There is some checkerboarding around the fine details in the video. Its really noticeable on color bars and graphics. Is there some kind of setting I’m missing? There are some switches on the converter.

Is your original source footage and timeline DV? Sounds like you’re seeing compression artifacts from the DV codec. If so, what you’re seeing is normal.
