  DVCPro HD to Uncompressed in realtime?

  I’m using the KONA 2 and I read somewhere that the KONA card can playback DVCPro HD footage in an Uncompressed sequence in realtime. Can someone please point me to some information on this? Does this apply to the KONA 2 card, or just the KONA 3? I’m hoping to be able to play back a mixed resolution timeline in FCP with DVCPro HD and Uncompressed footage without rendering. Pipedream?

  FCP does not allow you to play back mixed resolution files in one timeline (without rendering). What the Kona will do is play a DVCPRO HD sequence and the outgoing singal from the Kona is uncompressed HD.
