  How do I enable frames of my video showing as my shots instead of colored bars on my tracks, er, layers?

  If you’re seeing color bars instead of footage, your media is probably offline. Right-click your media file in the Project window, go to Replace File, and find your media to reconnect.

  I reconnected and the display is still a colored bar which I can customize. I want the thumbnail frames of the footage displayed. Another suggestion?

  If it’s an image sequence you might be missing frames from it.
