  anamorphic NTSC to letterbox NTSC conversion?

  Hey

  I have a timeline in fcp 5 thats dvc50 ntsc anamorphic, and i was wondering id there is a way to convert it to letterbox through my kona LH. I know i can downconvert hi def that way, but what about good ole NTSC 525 60i???

  BTW i did it through FCP by nesting and letterboxing , but it took 15 minutes to render before i could edit to tape

  Currently not. You have found the way to do it in changing the aspect ratio and rendering. This would be a cool feature on the Kona cards, I’d write AJA and ask them about it.
