24 Channel Digitizing
Posted by Tim Counihan on June 24, 2006 at 4:18 amHey everyone,
Does anybody have any experience digitizing multiple audio tracks (24). The documentation says with proper hardware you can acheive this. Does this hardware exist??
Thanks for help,
Tim

Devices from companies like Motu allow for the capture of 24 tracks audio into FCP, The most I have ever done via this method is 20 (that was all I needed)
FYI — there is no easy setup for that type of hardware.

that would depend on your skill level in FCP and familiarity with the motu hardware

June 28, 2006 at 3:02 pmThanks for your help. This setup is also for a live event. I haven’t used any Motu hardware but it looks
like an older Avid I/O setup. Wondering about the Time Code as well. Thanks again,
Tim
