Hi! So I have a two layers, and the one on the top is set to color dodge, and I really like how it looks with the other layer underneath it. However I don’t want to see the bottom layer, I just want it to affect the layer above. Is there a good way to go about fixing that? Thanks so much!

I can’t remember which one, but try the Effect > Channel

You’ll want to do that a few ways as an experiment: on the top layer, on the bottom layer — and there are several channels to choose.
