I am new to Premiere and after effects after having used FCP I am a beginner in both. I need to adjust the exposure and unable to do that in FCP, after some research, have turned to Premier and after effects. My mov file is in after effects, where I was abel to change the exposure. Do I now transfer it to Premiere to hear the audio?

    Hi Kate,

Although After Effects has some great color correction tools, you can actually do it in Premiere Pro as well. Unless you are doing effects and graphics, Premiere is probably the better tool for something like this.

If you’ve already done your corrections on this particular clip and don’t want to do them over in Premiere, you can do what’s called a RAM Preview to hear your audio in After Effects.

Adobe and others have some great videos on getting started with Adobe software, so make use of all the great (and free!) learning resources online.
