  Trouble with Real Time…

  I have a tricked out G5 with Kona 2, Kbox, and I/O La…I am having trouble getting RT even with beta footage. I am doing a lot of layering of Photoshop files with layers and animations…could that be the problem?

  Can anyone suggest what might be my problem. I really thought this system would be…more real time.

  The RT engine is dependant on the following, RAM, your Mac’s processing speed AND how many streams of data your hard drive system can push. You do not state your system configuration beyo your post, but I might suggest that the drive speed is what is limiting your real time performance.

  RT does not support a lot of photoshop layers and defintely not animations with alpha channel. RT is more for filters and layering of video tracks.
