  Whoa,what about old projects?

  In planning for a KONA 2, what concerns should I have for opening old projects built on a Decklink SP setup? Would they require re-rendering? Is that it?

  It should work without rendering (unless effect as such are applied and you would have to render anyway). You might have to tweak some settings, but it will work. The codecs for FCP uncompressed work are pretty much interchangeable.
