  aja LS sound glitch

  I have noticed sound glitches with LS on playback- I have been told it is a firmware problem, but everything is updated to as high as it will get. fcp 4.5 on 10.3.9- and I understand 10.3.9 is horrible, but it is too late to go back with out loosing a bunch of stuff. Is there something that i’m missing here. it is a dual 2gig G5.
