It would be massively appreciated by your customers and it would at least give us a short term path to go down.
    Many thanks in advance,

A good short term path is to simply purchase a current model G5 rather than the new ones. Or purchase a new G5 with the LHe.

Intel machines are most likely less than a year away. I’m most likely going to continue running my Kona 2 in my Dual 2.0’s until that time. that’s my short term path to go down.

Not really the reply I was looking for…already have a dual 2 but would like to
get the quad. It would be nice if Aja were able to offer a solution to the problem faced by all and sundry, or at least minimize the damage, even if they’re not able to build the hardware required.
    Thats all.

the short term path is a 30 day money back guarantee, and that is already in place.
If you are buying a PCIe Mac get the LHe card.
if you are buying a PCIx 2.7 get either a K2 or and LH,

However the Io’s all work in both models and does allow you to traverse between the PCI architectures ( because it does not use them)

Is apple doing anything for you on the Dual 2 you got that you want to replace?

    Chris-

Thanks for the heads-up on these, but we have not tested expansion chassis at this time. Please note that on Magma’s site that their solution is not available yet.

If you wish to discuss your needs, please feel free to call or email us.

    Thank you,

Thanks Chris, this was the reply I was hoping for.I realise it also depends on the cost of spoken hardware and how well it functions, but will Aja look into this
aspect and test whether its cost effect etc,

    Regards
    Kev
