  closed captioning

  I’d like to be able to keep all the commericals that I need to insert into to my show online and several of them are close captioned. What I don’t know is if the closed captioning would get the axe when I digitize the commercials to my server. Does anyone have any experience with this?

  I cut my show in a DV timeline than output through kona 2 to beta.

  recapture the closed captioned version to a codec that is 720×486 and use that as teh archive. The closed cationing will stay with the footage that has the captioing on it.
