    Im using a Kona SD card on a G5
    Im digitizing material from a Digi Beta Deck.
    Currently Im pulling Video out of the SD BCN port
    and Audio out of the AES/ Port.
    How do I pull Audio and Video embeded.

    I don’t believe that the old Kona SD card handled embedded audio. All current AJA products, including the I/O, I/O LA, and Kona 2 ALL handle embedded audio. The Kona 2 allows you to select between AES and embedded audio in the Kona control panel. This did not exist in the older Kona SD card. And no, AJA ain’t gonna write an application for this old card.

    The old Kona SD card most certainly handles embedded audio!! Just use the latest Blackmagic drivers and make sure you have the proper input settings for the audio
