  How to move keyframe and some levels in the same time?

  Hi!
  I was looking to accomplish this simple task in after effects: I want to shift 20 frames forward a couple of keyframes and some other levels, but I cannot figure out how to do it with a drag of a mouse, please have a look here 🙂

  Otherwise I got to write down the initial frame timing of the keyframes, shift the keyframes, do the math and get how many keyframes are shifted,
  then I have to make other calculation to get the final frame timing of the other levels…

  It’s a big loss of time and I hope there’s a faster way to do it! 🙂

  Layers and keyframes from other layers have to be moved separately, so there is no way to accomplish what you want to do in one step.

  If it’s a problem, I would use layer markers(* on number keypad) or comp markers(Shift + num) to keep things straight.

  also you can nudge keyframes by holding option (mac) or alt (pc) and using the right/left arrow keys to move them up/down the timeline. hold shift-option or shift-alt moves them in 10 frame increments.

  you can nudge a layer in the timeline by holding option or alt and using the page up/page down keys. again, holding shift too will nudge them in 10 frame increments.

  you still have to do it in two separate steps, but it’s pretty simple to use this technique if you are nudging less than a few seconds.
