  Kona 2 SDI to component??

  I just started working for this company and they bought themselves a kona 2 SDI card not realizing they needed the kona 2 component. Can I resolve this problem by just switching the serial cables in the back? or do i actually have to buy another card? any help would be great !!!

  The Kona 2 is SDI only (with component out). The Kona LS has component in and out, and is not HD. Visit http://www.aja.com for specs. Read posts below to find options for Analog input for the Kona 2.

  What you will want to do is either pick up an AJA Component to SDI converter or pick up an AJA Io LA which will give you full Analog I/O which will work alongside the Kona 2.
