  Kona LS and HDV

  Is it possible, could someone please tell me, to use the “Kona LS” card and FCP 5 to capture/edit/playback HDV ? I realize the “Kona 2” card has hardware acceleration for HDV.
  I was curious about the Kona LS card though.

  why would a SD only card accelerate any HD content?

  Not looking to accelerate with an SD card. Just thought that if it runs Uncompressed and SDI I/O – Just thought maybe it could bring in HDV.
