  NEW AJA KONA software available now, Important Info re: FCP5 and Tiger

  Hello-

  We are pleased to announce that new software is available for our entire Desktop product line, that introduces not only exciting new features, but also OSX 10.4 “Tiger” and Final Cut Pro 5 compatibility.

  *KONA 1.1.1 Software*

  New v1.1.1 software is available immediately for KONA 2 and KONA LS. New features include:

  Support for Final Cut Pro 5.0
  – Dynamic RT hardware support (KONA 2 only)
  – HDV hardware support (KONA 2 only)
  – DVCProHD 1080i50 support (KONA 2 only)

  Improved behavior with OS X 10.4 (

  Hello AJA –
  I URGE YOU to NOT remove the previous versions of control panels and drivers that do not correspond to Tiger. I have numerous clients that have never upgraded to the new control panels or firmware becuase they were in the middle of a project, and were looking foward to doing the upgrade. If V1.1.1 is only available for Tiger, it means that people that do not upgrade to Tiger will have no ability to get the correct drivers for their AJA products.

  Hi Bob-

  Previous versions of our software are on the support section of our website. But, v1.1.1 is also 10.3.8 and 10.3.9 compatible, so you and your clients should have no problem whichever OS is used.

  Hello all,

  I was running beta driver, I uninstaled the beta driver, upgraded the firmware on the card shut down restarted no problem ran the 1.1.1 driver and I get black screen that tells me to hold down the power button. I have done the hold the power thing over and over with no luck. Should I pull the kona card and restart?? This only happened after loading the newest driver??

  after the 7th reboot and a little praying it started and is running fine???????
