  Shake and Io

  I talked to someone at the AJA booth this week at NAB about getting video out of Shake through an Io. He gave me some quick instructions, but I can’t seem to get it right. Anyone have any suggestions?

  That would have been me.

  Shake does not have realtime playback of video as it is a “render’ based video display. IF you read the shake manual
  under video out you will see that you need to render out the file and set some parameters. IF you follow the instructions on Page 63-65 of the manual (or look in the help on those same pages)

  this only works on the mac- nothing else
