  text animation preset – ramp up & down

  hi, I’m looking for a text animation preset in after effects cc which will make my text animate like the text at the start of this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HKNji6P4Guc

  i’m fairly new to text animation effects…any help would be appreciated.

  Try this free preset: Amortype 2.0 Watch the tutorial, it will show you how to remove/adjust the defaults. In that video it looks like it just uses scale, so you just need set position to 0, unlink the scale and set it to 100,0,100 then uncheck the random colors option. Then adjust the frequency and you should be pretty close.
