    Hello
This is something that’s always slowing my workflow down, so I thought it was about time to ask an expert. I have 500 small circles drawn in illustrator. I’ve saved the document as an Ai and as RGB. I’ve brought it into AE and each circle (which is on a layer of its own) is showing as being 970kb!! If I save the same illustrator document into Photoshop and then bring that into AE as a PSD, each circle is under 10kb. Ideally I would like too use the Ai version but that size of file is prohibitive. Can anyone suggest a reason why such a small object (20px diameter) can produce a layer in AE of 970kb? There MUST be something I’m missing. Thanks in advance.
