BBC Atlantis intro
Hi
I’m a newbe and can’t figure out how to make the light with the text in the first four seconds of this video.
Anyone who has an idea of how i can do it?
It might be easy, but maybe I just can’t see the forrest for trees.
I will be so greatfull 🙂 -

It could have been made in a 3D app, but it looks very similar to a technique used by Andrew Kramer in this tutorial, Ancient Titles

Maybe i was a little vague about what light i was talking about.

Got it, that’s a lens flare, and strangely enough, probably made from company who made the tutorial I just linked.
Here’s a link to a tutorial for creating lens flares without plugins,
If you google, you will find other free lens flare tutorials that can help you achieve different looks.
