See my profile picture? That’s just archival drives – my current projects are always on the 3tb internal Mac Pro RAID 0.

Has anyone had a first hand successful implementation of LTO-5 backup and retore on a Mac Pro?

Please share the details or email me at Tn********@*ol.com.

See my response here [link] — I’ve had BRU and LTO5 running on a Mac for about a year.

Can I ask from where did you buy the package and how much did you pay? My 8th mega firewire drive arrived today – I am drowning in data!

I got mine from Silverado Systems. Bundles are available from several VARs as well as direct from Tolis Group. The pricing was all about the same.
