I have a trip to London (UK) coming up. 2 months,Red Epic feature shoot. Will carry drives, RAIDs and LTOs as needed, of course, but was wondering if anyone has suggestions on good computer parts stores there in case I need to get a drive or a case or a cable.

Brick-and-mortar stores preferred in case I can’t wait for shipping. And even online store recommendations welcome. Parts like bare drives, RAIDs, thunderbolt adapters, USB, eSATA cables, etc

I believe online stores there only accept British billing address credit cards. Or is that an urban myth?

    Hi Neil,

I really don’t know. But you shouldn’t have problems with your visa card. London is full of professional suppliers. Caldigit UK, CCK Media, Quadrant Solutions, rentaraid, altered images, Protape LTD, Planet PC. One of these should fit your needs.

    Cheers

    Rainer

    Neil,

As Rainier indicated & my preference would be RENTARAID, https://www.rentaraid.co.uk/ give Neil a call there & I’m sure he’d be more than happy to answer any questions you might have.
