  ExaSAN, any experiences

  They advertise, here at the Cow. And I remember meeting with them at a NAB or an IBC maybe last year or before. I think they were or are OEMs for some brand that we are used to, can’t place them. Maybe Caldigit?

  Anyway, does anyone have experience with their gear? Particularly their SAN switch which seems like a nifty idea (don’t know about pricing).

  Hi Neil –
  this is Accusys, which is Cal Digit Super Share. It’s all Infiniband, and you must use their drive array boxes.
  Its a switch and hub, and they supply the host adaptors, and Infiniband cabling. It’s very fast. It works
  with XSAN software, as well as MetaSAN, Fibre Jet and SANmp.
