    Hi Everyone,

Does anyone have any good experiences to speak of in regards to Apple’s own RAID card? It seems like the reviews of the card are pretty luke warm, at best, and that it’s not worth it.

Also, does anyone know if Apple’s card will support a 5 drive RAID-5 in a MacPro, using the second 5.25 drive bay for the fifth drive? I’m thinking about building a MacPro with 5x 3tb drives and wanted to know if this was going to work

    Thanks

Up to 4 drives are supported…which is what I figured, this is confirmed on Apple.com, Mac Pro RAID card page:
