  Directly Connected AD542B

  Hi i was wondering if anyone had the knowledge to help me with my issue of directly connecting a AD542B to a GL360 G5 server.

  Current Specs of Server are:

  AE312A FC HBA
  8GB RAM
  Server 2008 R2 x64
  3.2GHz xeon processor
  500GB HDD.

  Installed within the AD542B i have:

  2x AJ715A
  FC B AD624B
  FC A AD623B

  2 x power supplies

  1 X AD625B

  My issue is that i want to connect this device directly to the server so that i can test FC HDDs. I have no need for any functionality except to diagnose any issues within the HDDs installed within it. Any help would be glady appreciated.

  All drivers and firmware for the AE312A are up to date and i also have the Qlogic gui installed, but still cannot detect the disk array on my system.
