  DO NOT update your MACs (ATTO users)

  Hi –
  If you are running Snow Leopard, there is a new JAVA update on the Apple Software Updates site that will kill the ATTO Configuration Tool. New software is being written right now, but if you do your MAC Software updates, and develop a problem with your drive array, you will be screwed today, so HOLD OFF on those updates.

  Hi –
  there is a new ATTO Config tool v3.33.1 on the https://www.attotech.com website, which resolves the problem created by Apple and the JAVA update.

  thanks bob. this happened to me the other day and i should have posted about it here. stupid that i don’t follow my own advice when it comes to upgrading critical systems. nice to see ATTO is on top of it. yet another reason why they’re the best!
