    Buen dia,

To be honest I'm starting to use this Las SAN. Someone knows or has information on best practices and generate Las luns in a SAN, In the company where I want to migrate all Las databases of the company and would like to know if anyone has info that I can comprate.
    Greetings

using Google, I looked up “Las SAN”, and I could not find any listing for this product. What brand of SAN are you using ?

    you state –
“Someone knows or has information on best practices and generate Las luns in a SAN”

REPLY – you want to generate the LUNs (the logical unit numbers) in the SAN ? Do you just want to see your volumes that are available to you. It will help if you tell me what brand of shared area network you are using.

oh… gotcha, “las” is from Spanish making it’s way into more of a spanglish posting.

What SAN are you planning on using?

    Alberto –
you have to tell us WHAT SAN ARE YOU USING –
Apple XSAN, Facilis Terrablock, EditShare – you are asking a general question, and there is no “general answer”. What SAN system do you own ?
