  After effects TV OUT on G5?

  I am a little bit surprised now that I got my new G5 computer and there is no TV out. How can I now live preview what I’m doing? I know, when I had PC and I was working in Premiere I could preview through camera connected between comp and TV. But is it possible to somehow ‘connect’ the AE to TV with my current hardware (no TV OUT, camera, firewire, TV).

  I can’t afford to wait few weeks for buying additional hardware from apple because of the very tight deadline. I was expecting I will get a professional video editing machine as mac is advertised now I’m stuck.

  Yes! I accidentaly found it under preferences / video preview …

  Speaking of, does anyone have any recommendations of a simple conversion box that will let me take my DV camera out of the loop?
  i.e. G5–Firewire–NiftyBox–RCA/Component–TV

  Is this what you need? I found this box and it seems great for a reasonable price.
