  G-Tech Studio or Promise Pegasus2?

  I’m about to take the plunge and get the new retina iMac.

  Along with it, I’ll be purchasing a Thunderbolt2 RAID.

  The 2 options I’m down to are the Promise Pegasus 2 (https://www.promise.com/promotion_page/promotion_page.aspx?region=en-global&rsn=100) and the G-Tech studio (https://www.g-technology.com/products/g-speed-studio)

  At the moment I think I’ll probably go for a 12TB option.

  I wondered if anyone here had either unit, and had any wisdom to share to help me make my choice. Either will be great, I’m sure, but any first hand experience is always welcome.
