Accessing a Thunderbolt-only external RAID without a Thunderbolt port.
Is it possible? Obviously in theory it doesn’t make sense, but I don’t care about speed right now – just compatibility.
Is there a way I can access this drive on my PC? I have USB 2 & 3 ports, eSATA and FireWire 400.
Apple have a FireWire 800 to Thunderbolt adaptor for around $30, but this is not bidirectional and can only be used to access old FW devices on systems with Thunderbolt ports (with TB ports). Can anyone tell me if their TB to Ethernet adaptor would be of any use?
Would these expensive TB hubs help me at all or are they also meant for Macs with TB ports to access everything else?
