  MXF Server Testing

  Hey Y’all!

  I’m looking for advice or some help. We’re testing a new Storage System (MXF SERVER) at our office and i need to figure out ways to test it before we commit to buy. We are a post facility that uses avid, adobe creative cloud, and final cut pro. Does anyone know what i should be testing for? So far we’re testing for:
  1. speed of throughput
  2. File copy performance
  3. backup
  4. write and read performance
  5. concurrent users
  6. dropped frames (how many?)
  7. we’re also having our artists and editors run a few heavy projects.

  Does anyone know of a proof of concept i can read of storage systems?
  any help is greatly appreciated!
