  Files losing MBs on cloud – need advice

  Hi,

  I’ve uploaded a video .mp4 file that is 332 MB on both Google Drive and Adobe Creative Cloud and both of them lose resolution to 316 MB.

  Do you have any advice on getting the full file size onto a cloud, whether it’s CC or Google Drive or other?

  My first guess is that you’re seeing the size reported in different units. A megabyte isn’t actually one million bytes; it’s 2^20 bytes, which is about 5% larger. Some computer systems report size in millions of bytes, some in thousands of kilobytes, and some in megabytes… all of which give slightly different numbers.
