  CS6: old fashioned static dox? / reference, not videos

  OK, just upgraded to CS6. Frankly the dox are annoying: where can I find just straightforward, static, well cross-indexed documentation?

  F1 takes me to a LABYRINTH of videos: surely there’s a straightforward PDF somewhere? I just want to look things up quickly, not have somebody walk me thru all the features.

  Eric, try this:

  https://helpx.adobe.com/after-effects/topics.html(that‘s the help I get from AE) and enter your query. Then on the next page press the radio button for “Only Adobe Content” it’s right below the big search box. That will remove quite a bit of the links to videos and tutorials.

  (Complaining to me won’t help, since I don’t work on the documentation. That’s not a brush-off; I am just not the right person.)

  BTW, the first link of Vishesh’s is to the marketing materials, which are not just shallow, but often misleading. I’d not bother with those.
