  • Centering comp dimension values – any idea??

One really annoying thing about AE default comp dimensions is that X and Y values start in the upper right corner. That means that for example if you place anything in the middle of the 720×1080 comp – the placement of that object will be x=540 y=360. It would be SO MUCH EASIER if the center of the comp was actually x=0 y=0. If you go up or right you go to positive numbers, down or left reversed negative numbers (like Cinema 4D). Is there any comp setting that can do that? Or is there any work around to achieve that?

I have been researching it for some time now but couldn’t find any solution.

    Thank so much in advance.
