  ME Encode Fails Immediately with x264 (Mac)

  Hi everyone,

  I am attempting to transcode a quicktime video file with x264 encoding. Every attempt leads to an immediate failed error, copied below. I have tried a few different codecs and they seem to work, but I need to use x264 for this task. Has anyone run into this before, and if so, please help!

  Running ME 2015.4 on a Mac running Yosimite 10.10.5.

  Also of note, when I attempt to transcode the same file in MPEG streamclip using the same codec I get a “Error: Can’t Add Video Media to Movie” error.
