    Hi

I am producing an animation which looks fine in Pro Res 422 and Animation, but is causing some problems when I encode to H264.

The animation is in HD format and contains a noise field with changing colours and shapes.
    here is a sample clip : https://vimeo.com/160302049/359403bc36

I would like to encode this video to H264 as a quicktime file to be read by a media player.

During the compression process artefacts appear and blurring seem to take place, reducing the quality of the animation.

Here is a section of a screen grab at 100% scale.

I have tried raising the bit rate from 15,000 to 35,000 with no visible difference. I have been told to look into turning off the deblocking filter, but cannot find this in adobe media encoder.

Is there any variable setting or other software that you can recommend to get around this problem?

    Many thanks

    Paul
