  Powerpoint preferred format?

  I’m using:
  Media Encoder 9.2.0.26

  On a Macbook Pro
  OSX 10.10.5

  Needing to create a file from:

  Adobe Premere CC 9.2

  For a dell laptop. I’m not sure what kind or what version of powerpoint my manager will be using. He just emailed me and told him to make some video files for his PP presentation.

  Is there a preferred universal format of video for powerpoint? Looking at all these different formats Encoder offers and I’m a bit overwhelmed.

  24, LOST, Prison Break, FRINGE, Supernatural, DEXTER, Breaking Bad, CHUCK, Flash Forward, HEROES…even SMALLVILLE in the latter seasons.. they’ve all ruined my movie going experience by being better than so many movies out today.

  For 2013 and later, use an MP4.

  Lisa is right. Use a MP4 with the h.264 codec. That’s probably the most universally compatible format at this point – Mac/Windows, iOS/Android can all handle it.
