  • Watch folder stops watching until restarted

    hi guys,

I have been running a AME watch folder successfully for a project for months and all has been fine but it’s recently simply stopped ‘watching’ after an undetermined amount of time even if left for ages (an hour or more after it stops ‘watching’).

Once AME is restarted it picks up the new content straight away.

    I’m using the following spec:

    • Mac pro Black Tower (late 2013)
    • OS X Yosemite 10.10.1
    • 64gb RAM, 3.7 quad core E5
    • AME CC 2014.2 release, build 8.2.0.54
    • renders to same (secondary) drive
    • system drive: 225Gb available
    • target drive: 1.9TB available

    Is simply converting a 1.25Gb mov to a 9.5mb h264 *.mp4
NOTHING has changed in what’s it’s being asked to render and output for months – effectively the same each time.

any ideas? driving me a little crazy

    all help gratefully received, Rich
